Richland's seniors are invited to attend an environmental and energy efficiency program at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Richland Community Center.

The program, presented by the Richland Environmental Education office and Energy Services, will cover recycling, proper disposal of household hazardous waste, and energy conservation loans on doors, windows, heat pumps, insulation and more.

Richland residents will also receive compact fluorescent light bulbs, insulating outlet gaskets and chemical-free recipe books will be given away.
