Need some color spots for your landscaping?

A hanging basket for the patio?

Perhaps some veggie seedlings for summer salads?

If so, set aside some time on April 13 or 14 to drive to River View High School in Finley for the Finley FFA Chapter's 16th annual plant sale.

Since October, the students have been planting, pinching, fertilizing and transplanting a variety of bedding plants, vegetables, hanging baskets, color bowls, annuals, perennials and more. They'll be selling their plants from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

To find the school from Kennewick drive southeast on Chemical Drive (Highway 397) to South Finley Road, turn right and right again at East Game Farm Road and follow the signs to South Lemon Drive.

The sale is a fundraiser for the Finley FFA Chapter, and proceeds will go toward student FFA activities and expansion of the agriculture program at River View.

For more information, contact the agricultural department at River View on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 586-7279.
